absconding from the last six years, has been arrested from Robertsganj area.
Superintendent of Police Shiv Shanker Yadav said today that Rajendra Prasad was sentenced to life imprisonment by an additional district judge in 1982.
Yadav appealed against it in the High Court which in 2008 upheld the order of the lower court.
After the HC upheld the order, Yadav went in hiding and was absconding since then.
He said the convict was arrested from Hinduvari trisection in Robertsganj area yesterday.
