Mustard oil rises on local parties demand

Barring a rise in mustard oil on scattered local parties demand, other edible and non-edible oils held steady at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
Traders said mild demand from local parties mainly pushed up mustard oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil gained Rs 50 to Rs 7,500 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustardseed Rs 2,950-3,050 and Groundnutseed Rs 2,150-2,900. Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) Rs 850-1,065.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) Rs 8,850, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) Rs 1,600-1,650, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 7,500, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,250-1,300, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,300-1,400, sesame mill delivery Rs 7,950, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) Rs 6,550, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) Rs 6,250, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 4,250, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) Rs 5,650, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 5,550, Palmolein (Kandla) Rs 5,450 and Coconut (per tin) Rs 2,225-2,250.
Non-edible oils: Linseed Rs 8,450, Castor Rs 9,700-9,800, Neem Rs 5,350-5,450.
