Refined soya oil prices weakened by 0.18 per cent to Rs 683.70 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators reduced exposure amid subdued demand in the spot markets against adequate stocks position.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month December fell by Rs 1.25, or 0.18 per cent to Rs 683.70 per 10 kg with an open interest of 32,230 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in November shed 80 paise, or 0.12 per cent to Rs 674.90 per 10 kg in 32,520 lots.
Market analysts said cutting down of positions by traders owing to slackened demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks position weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
