The Special Investigation Team, probing the Muzaffarnagar riot cases, today filed a charge sheet against two persons accused of murder.

The SIT filed its first charge sheet in the case related to violence in Kutba village in September in which eight persons were killed, in a local court against Kunwar Pal and Jogender, who have already been arrested, police said.

Both are accused of involvement in the violence during September last year, in which eight persons were killed and 24 others seriously injured.

Charge sheets against them will be filed after their arrest, SIT sources said, adding that probe against the remaining 71 persons is on.
