Supermodel Giselle Bundchen says she retired from the runway after nearly 20 years of career because her body told her so.
The 34-year-old beauty will make her final catwalk appearance during Sao Paulo Fashion Week next week, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it's a privilege to be able to stop," Bundchen said.
She said she will spend lesser time in the industry to focus more on her family. "I don't see how to continue (modelling on the catwalk)... And stopping will leave room for other projects I have for myself," she explained.
Aside from modeling, Bundchen has been appointed as the faces of numerous famous brands, naming some are H&M, Chanel, and Pantene.
She is a mother of two children, son Benjamin Rein and daughter Vivian Lake. The children's father is Tom Brady, to whom she has been married since 2009.
