Brosnan, 60, said he appreciates his home life away from crazy Hollywood, reported Daily Express.
"Fame comes and goes, it's a double-edged sword. As a young actor I desperately wanted to be famous and appear in films - which I achieved. But you can't hold on to fame, you always have to ask yourself, 'How would I cope without it?' And I would cope!," he said.
Brosnan said his inner strength has always been tested following the death of his first wife Cassandra Harris in 1991 after battling ovarian cancer and the loss of his adopted daughter Charlotte last year to the same illness.
