'My Home Group' announces scholarships for class X students

Hyderabad-based 'My Home Group', which is into constructions and real estate, cement, power and education, today announced scholarships for class X students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana government schools.
Named as 'Dr J Rameswar Rao's Maha Scholar by My Home', 180 meritorious students in 60 government schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be awarded the scholarships to encourage them to study further, My Home Constructions Pvt Ltd Managing Director Jagapathi Rao told reporters here.
On the 60th birthday of J Rameswar Rao, the founder and chairman of 'My Home Group', the scholarships are announced, he said adding the number of scholarships will be increased and more government schools will also be covered in both the states in the coming years.

"The Group will take interest in the development of these children so that they can have a bright future and support themselves, their families and the community at large," Jagapathi Rao said.
'My Home Group' had spent Rs 10 crore towards corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities last year and the spending will continue to grow every year, he said.
The Group is continuously engaged in rural development by building infrastructure and installing water purification plants, education, health, social causes, environmental sustainability, etc, he added.
