N Kamakodi reappointed MD&CEO of City Union Bank

Private sector City Union Bank today said Reserve Bank of India has approved the re-appointment of N Kamakodi as MD and CEO, for a period of three years with effect from May 1.
"Pursuant to the approval received from Reserve Bank of India, N Kamakodi MD & CEO of the bank has been reappointed for a further period of three years from May one, 2017 to April 30, 2020", the Tamil Nadu-based bank said in BSE.
Kamakodi joined the bank as Deputy General Manager in 2003 and was later elevated as General Manager in 2005.
In 2006, he was appointed as Executive Director. From May 2011, he was serving the bank as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, the bank said in its website.

Shares of City Union Bank ended at Rs 164.40 apiece upby 2.91 per cent over previous close in BSE.
