N P Topno takes over as new Regional Director of RBI, Patna

N P Topno today took over as the Regional Director of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Bihar and Jharkhand.
Topno took over the charge of Regional Director (RD) from outgoing Regional Director M K Verma, RBI Assistant General Manager Pravin Kumar said in a release.
Topno has the experience of working in the area of Regulation, Supervision, Foreign Exchange and Currency Management, Kumar said adding, he has also acted as the Banking Ombudsman of Rajasthan.
Just prior to assuming charge as RD, Patna, Topno, who hails from Ranchi in Jharkhand, was posted as General Manager Officer In-Charge, Agartala Sub-Office in 2015, the release said.

He has worked in various Regional Offices of the Bank as well as the Central Office.
He holds a Masters Degree in Geography from Ranchi University and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi, the release added.
