Jaypee Infra Q3 net loss widens to Rs 41.39 cr

Jaypee Infratech today saw its net loss widening to Rs 41.39 crore for the third quarter ended December 2016.
The company had clocked a net loss of Rs 25.33 crore for the corresponding quarter of 2015-16 fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.
Its income from operations fell to 317.53 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 752.21 in the corresponding quarter a year-ago.
The company's total expenses, however, declined to Rs 193.35 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal, from Rs 554.66 crore in the year-ago period.
The shares of the company closed at Rs 9.86 apiece on the BSE, down 4.36 per cent from its previous close.
