New Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda today parried questions on the recent removal of AIIMS Chief Vigilance Officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi.
"This is a shubh mahurth..", he said when asked about his reaction to the Aam Aadmi Party's allegations against him on the CVO's removal.
Asked about his priorities, he said "I have just joined, let me settle down and understand things".
After taking charge, Nadda met the Secretary and Joint Secretaries along with other senior officials.
AAP had yesterday attacked him on the removal.
When asked about it, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said that as an MP, Nadda had every right to take up an issue.
