He also congratulated them on winning power in Assam and increasing BJP's vote share and securing better results in other states (West Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu).
"This indicates the growing popularity of Narendra Modi," Chandrababu observed.
The elections proved that people would vote back good governments to power, he added.
Chandrababu called his Tamil Nadu counterpart Jayalalithaa over phone and congratulated her, a release from his office said.
He had also congratulated West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the victory of Trinamool Congress in the Assembly elections.
Naidu also complimented the LDF over its victory in the Kerala Assembly elections.
