On noticing deficiencies, Naidu asked all the shopkeepers to ensure one dustbin in front of each shop besides collectively ensuring that the common area of the market is kept clean, according to a senior UD Minister official.
He also spoke to residents of local RWA and urged them not to allow dumping of garbage and malba (debris) in open areas.
While visiting a community toilet and having found it not being maintained properly, he conveyed his displeasure to the concerned authorities.
About 100 CPWD officials cleaned up the open area in the shopping complex that has become a "dumping place".
