Naik favours inclusion of Mount Abu in the smart city list

Union Tourism Minister Shripad Yesso Naik today favoured inclusion of Mount Abu in the list of proposed smart cities, from tourism point of view and said the government will provide all help for its development.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of a media conclave in Brahmkukmari Ishwariya Vishwavidhyalaya in Mount Abu in Rajasthan, he asked the media to play a constructive role in nation building.
The government has allocated ample amount for development of tourism and conservation of heritage buildings. It was working in planned manner to create more jobs in the tourism sector, he was quoted as saying in a release here.
He also said that efforts would also be made to include Mount Abu in the list of proposed smart cities from tourism point of view and would provide all help for the development of the destination.
