On behalf of NALCO, S Samantaray, DGM (Mktg) received the award from former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam at EEPC Regional Award Ceremony for Export Excellence 2012-2013, held at Kolkata on Wednesday, a company release said today.
During 2012-13, NALCO which happens to be a leading exporter of aluminium has achieved sales turnover of Rs 7,247 crore, including export earnings of Rs 3,410 crore, it said.
NALCO enjoys Premier Trading House status, and it is the first Indian aluminium company to be registered with London Metal Exchange, for its high quality products, it said.
