Nalinikanth Gollagunta is GE Healthcare President, South Asia

GE Healthcare has appointed Nalinikanth Gollagunta as its president and CEO for India and South Asia, and MD of Wipro GE Healthcare.
He joins GE Healthcare from Cisco where he was the country head and managing director of Enterprise Sales, India and SAARC region, and succeeds Milan Rao, GE Healthcare said in a statement.
Gollagunta will report to Wipro Chairman Azim Premji and GE Healthcare SHS President and CEO Terri Bresenham, it added.
"Wipro and GE Healthcare enjoy one of the most successful and enduring partnerships lasting over 28 years and has made a positive impact on India's healthcare industry. I am confident Nal will further strengthen this relationship and give an added impetus to our mission to build a healthy India and a healthier world," Premji said.
Gollagunta will be responsible for building on Wipro GE's expansion plans, delivering on commercial outcomes, strategic growth objectives, and driving partnerships in the region, the statement said.
"Nal is a strong commercial, strategy and technology leader with deep expertise of the rapidly evolving digital space," Bresenham said.
His understanding of enterprise business solutions and technology will facilitate development of disruptive technologies and business models that will help improve outcomes for healthcare systems and patients in South Asia, she added.
