Nashik: Farmers meet Raj Thackeray

Scores of farmers from the district today met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray here and discussed the issued faced by them, a farmer leader said.
"We discussed various problems faced by us, including the issue of land being taken by Maharashtra government for the Mumbai-Nagpur 'Samruddhi' Expressway," said Raju Desale, Working President of Kisan Sabha.
Thackeray said if the farmers are unable to maintain their "unity" the government will not consider their demands.
