Natco Pharma Q2 Net jumps over two-fold to Rs 66.55 cr

Natco Pharma today reported over two-fold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 66.55 crore for the second quarter ended September, mainly on account of robust formulation sales.
The company had posted a net profit after non-controlling interests of Rs 29.29 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Natco Pharma said in a BSE filing.
Consolidated total income from operations also rose to Rs 467.86 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 243.02 crore for the same period of last year.
"The growth for the company during the quarter was driven primarily by increased sales of its formulations business," Natco Pharma said.

Shares of Natco Pharma closed 0.29 per cent up at Rs 618.65 on BSE.
