Former BJP leader Mohinder Nath Sofat said a two-party system has taken roots in the state and the BJP had been winning the elections here as the people wanted to defeat the Congress.
In the past, a third alternative had emerged but that did not last long. This time again, a third party would be in the fray, he said.
Sofat said the state executive of the party would be announced within a week and candidates for all the 68 assembly seats would be identified.
