The 'Lok Adalat' held by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) disposed of the pre-litigation and pending cases relating to criminal compoundable matters and those of other nature.
According to an NALSA statement, more than 53,000 pre-litigation cases and over 67,000 pending cases were settled today till 4.30 PM.
Besides, parties were able to arrive at final settlements worth more than Rs 202.79 crore, it said.
The Lok Adalat, however, could not be held in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
