"We are undertaking activities to educate farmers and other smaller traders about warehouse receipt funding and benefits of availing loan against commodity deposits," NBHC Private chief business officer Neeraj Bhatia told reporters today.
NBHC, which is working towards alleviating poverty and food security of the nation, has contributed immensely to the growth of warehouse receipt funding and brought much needed security and liquidity to farmers and the entire ecosystem.
It has a wide association with 55 plus banks and as on date, warehouse receipt funding facility is available to farmers and eco-system participants on 170 commodities and in 900 plus locations in the country.
