NBW issued against Editor, Printer-Publisher of English daily

A city court today issued non-bailable warrants against the Editor and the Printer-Publisher of one of the leading English dailies in connection with a defamation case filed by the state government.
The Principal Sessions Court issued the NBW against the two persons, asking them to appear before it on July 18.
The case pertains to publication of DMK president M Karunanidhi's remarks against Jayalalithaa early this year.
The court also exempted the 90-year-old DMK leader from personal appearance.
