The National Board for Wildlife is learnt to have recommended for clearance a number of key projects, including the international fencing on Bangladesh border.
The standing committee of Board, which met here during the last two days, cleared the pendency of a host of project, sources said.
Environment ministry sources said that the approved projects were of "national importance" and their approval was required for the "progress of the nation".
Sources in the know of the meeting said that while all the projects were not cleared, some were also referred back for lack of information.
"But on the whole, whether cleared or referred back, the pendency was cleared during the meeting," source said.
The board was reconstituted last month.
