Asserting that Food Security Bill will be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir, state Congress chief Saifuddin Soz today said the issue will be discussed in the NC-Congress coordination panel.
"Being chairman of the coordination committee, I will soon call a meeting over the Food Security Bill," Soz told reporters here today.
"Nobody can deny the fact that it has to be done...People who are living below poverty line...We want to guarantee them food," he said.
To a question about the statement of Union Minister and NC chief Dr Farooq Abdullah that one can eat food at Re 1, he said "It has nothing to do with the Congress party".
