The party has also demanded immediate stepping down of all those heading the education ministry to enable a fair inquiry.
The Deputy Commissioner of Ramban yesterday suspended two headmasters of Government Girls Middle School Lamber and High School Chamalwas after the deaths.
"The party demands judicial probe into the circumstances leading to the death of two minor students in Banihal belt of Ramban district due to intake of expired iron tablets," NC District President Ramban Sajjad Shaheen today said.
The students - Tousef Ahmed and Ifra Nazir - died after "taking iron pills being provided by the school".
Local MLA Vikar Rasool has also demanded an inquiry into the incident.
He also demanded testing of iron pills that are being given to students across various schools in the district.
