Acting on specific inputs, NCB officials yesterday seized the bottles from a vehicle on National Highway-37 in Khanapara area, said a press release of the NCB, Guwahati zonal unit here today.
One person, a resident of Guwahati, has been arrested in this connection and the vehicle seized, the release said.
Preliminary enquiry revealed that the drug was obtained from Guwahati and was meant to be delivered to other parts of Assam in the illegal market.
Without giving the value of the seized goods, the release said investigation is in progress.
