"It will be our endeavour that NCC cadets get more opportunities and reservation in services. For this, we will give a representation to the (Central) government soon," he told reporters here.
"NCC cadets should be given reservation particularly in services like police and homeguards.
"Southern states are ahead in offering incentives like reservation in educational institutes and others to NCC cadets. Northern states should also make some efforts in this direction," the NCC DG said.
Acknowledging low percentage of girl cadets in the NCC in Rajasthan, the DG said the NCC aimed to increase the percentage of girl cadets in the state to 30 per cent and to 50 per cent in the long run.
