He filed his papers before District Collector Amit Meena, the Returning Officer for the bypoll.
The BJP nominee filed three sets of papers while Ummer, IUML substitute candidate, and an Independent Yousuf filed one set each, sources at the election cell of the collectorate said.
Sree Prakash was accompanied by BJP's Kerala state president Kummanam Rajasekaran, state General Secretary Subhash Vasu and party's Malappuram district president K Ramachandran, and NDA volunteers.
Tomorrow is the last date for filing of nomination.
