Singh, who met senior Sangh leaders in New Delhi today and is learnt to have discussed the post-poll strategy ahead of counting of votes on May 16, said "the poll results will be surprising".
"I am very much hopeful that BJP-led NDA will cross the number of 300 seats in the Lok Sabha elections and will form the next government at the Centre," Singh said on the margins of an event here.
"There is nothing special in that... I had gone there to express my gratitude to RSS leaders and swyamsewaks for the support they extended in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls to the BJP," he said.
