NDFB (R) ultra lynched, another injured

A militant of NDFB (Ranjan Daimary) pro-talk faction was lynched and another seriously injured when they came to collect extortion money demanded from a businessman in lower Assam's Goalpara district today.
The duo had come in a motorcycle to collect Rs 50,000 from the businessman at Singimari Bazar when angry locals beat them up severely, the police said.
One of them died on the spot and the other was critically injured and admitted to Goalpara civil hospital, they said.
The mob also set ablaze the motorcycle, they added.
