NDMC seals, demolishes 130 illegal structures

In a drive against unauthorized constructions, North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) today sealed and demolished 130 structures and removed an illegally installed cell tower.
In Civil Lines zone, more than 64 properties in Burari, Bhai Parmanand Colony, Hardev Nagar, Kewal Park, Majlis Park, Ashok Vihar, Keshav Puram, Wazirpur, Tri Nagar, Kamla Nagar and other places were demolished, a senior NDMC officer said.
In Rohini zone, illegal portions of about 66 properties were demolished in Vijay Vihar Phase-1, Deep Vihar, Shalimar Bagh, Madhuban Chowk, Shahbad Dairy and Rohini Sector-15.
Three properties were sealed on Main Rohtak Road and in Sector-11 Rohini. In Karol Bagh zone, action against illegal structures was taken in West Patel Nagar and Inderpuri.

The NDMC staff sealed a cell tower in old market in Timarpur and another was removed from JJ Colony in Wazirpur, he said.
