NDRF 9th battalion based at Bihta is spreading the awareness though various events like exhibition of search and rescue equipment, demonstration on cutting/approach techniques of collapsed structure, Nukkad Natak based on cardiac arrest and mock drill on Chemical Emergency at a mega function at Gandhi Maidan to celebrate foundation day of Bihar.
The main aim to organize such programmes by NDRF is to enhance awareness level of civilians, students and also different stakeholders in the field of disaster management, its commandant Vijay Sinha said in a statement today.
The rich display of safety equipment and imparting of knowledge is drawing youngsters, students and ladies to Disaster Management pavillion.
