The NEC secretary during his briefing of senior officers from planning and development department of all eight North East states also emphasised on submission of projects which are of regional character and not merely state specific.
"State governments should utilise allocated funds on time and submit utilisation certificates on time," Muivah said.
NEC planning adviser K H Kharshiing, financial adviser G K Chin, economic advisers W Synrem and D Khound, besides other senior Officers from NEC also spoke on development activities funded by NEC in the North Eastern Region.
