Lt Gen R S Pradhan, General Officer Commanding of Madhya Bharat Army Area, during a visit to the Faizabad Army Station, said there is a need for "minutely monitoring our communication equipment such as mobile phones so that there are no loopholes in our system".
Pradhan also met retired army jawans and war widows and heard their grievances and other problems.
More than 1,500 ex-servicemen from different districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh came here for direct interaction with Pradhan.
