The staff of Barakhamba police station was till now operating from the building of Connaught Place police station.
"It is not easy to evaluate the cost of the building in rupees which is located in an area like Barakhamba road. It's a pride for Delhi Police to have this building. We are grateful to the government for their cooperation," Kumar said.
Special Commissioner (Administration) Bhim Sain Bassi, who is set to be the next Delhi Police Commissioner, and Special Commissioner (Law and Order) Deepak Mishra were also present on the occasion.
