Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has grown his hair long for his upcoming film 'Shortcut Romeo'.
Neil plays a 'tapori' who wants to get rich quickly in the film. And to get the apt look, director Susi Ganesh wanted Neil to sport long locks in the film.
Hence, the 32-year-old actor first made sketches of his look with the long hair and then zeroed in on the final one.
"I wanted him to have long hair for the role so we asked him to wear a wig. He loved the look but said that instead of a wig he would grow his hair naturally long," Ganesh said in a statement here.
'Shortcut Romeo' is a remake of Ganesh's super hit Tamil film 'Thiruttu Payale'. The film also features Ameesha Patel and Puja Gupta and is slated to release on June 21.
