At least 11 people were killed and dozens injured today when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in central Nepal.
The ill-fated passenger bus was heading toward Rasuwa district from the Capital when the accident took place.
According to police, the vehicle had fallen some 200 metres down the road. At least 11 people were killed and more than four dozen people injured in the incident, Himalayan Times reported.
Since the site is difficult to reach, the rescue operation has been hit. Poor maintenance of roads and vehicles contribute to many accidents in the mountainous country.
