All 53 people on board a Nepalese Airlines jet escaped unhurt when the plane made an emergency landing today at the Kuala Lumpur Airport due to a technical problem.
Kathmandu-bound flight RA-416 Boeing 757 returned to Kuala Lumpur 45 minutes after it took off and landed safely, said Ramhari Sharma, the spokesperson of Nepal Airlines Corporation.
It is learnt that the problem occurred when the fan blade of the right engine of the aircraft vibrated.
An airline official said the aircraft is at the Kuala Lumpur Airport and all 53 people travelling in the flight are safe.
The aircraft was brought to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur three days ago after maintenance in Singapore, the official was quoted as saying by ekantipur.
