The team of Government officers from Nepal held over an hour-long discussion with the representatives of Thane Small-Scale Industries Association (TSSIA) yesterday.
The delegation was led by Binod Prasad Acharya, Director General, Department of Cottage and Small Industries Nepali's Ministry of Industry.
President of TSSIA Appa M R Khambete briefed the delegation about the activities of his association.
The visiting guests discussed the present set up of small and medium industries in the Himalayan country.
Khambete later told PTI that the delegation was curious to know about the manner in which small and medium industries operate in Maharashtra.
