The deceased was identified as Singh Bahadur. A resident of Nepal, Bahadur worked here as a security guard for a private enterprise. He was on duty when the incident took place yesterday night, said a police officer.
"A case of murder has been registered and investigation has been taken up. Prima facie it is a case of personal rivalry," said DCP (Outer) Vikramjit Singh.
Police are checking CCTV grabs from all premises near the spot and questioned several persons. However, they haven't yet been able to ascertain the identity of the accused persons, said the officer.
