Nepalese with smack worth Rs 8 lakh arrested

A Nepalese youth has been arrested with 40 grams of smack worth Rs 8 lakh in Sonauli area on Indo-Nepal border here, a senior official said.
Akash Magar, 23, a native of Nawalparasi district of Nepal, was arrested by Sashstra Seema Bal (SSB) last night with 40 grams of smack while he was going to Nepal, SSB Deputy Commandant Manish Kumar said.
Magar has been booked under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, he added.
