Shoba Barrier was executed in Arar city in the Northern Border Region as she was found guilty of murdering Osama bin Moaidh bin Qaisom Al-Anzi, the Interior Ministry said in a statement carried by Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The ministry said that the Nepalese maid confessed to her crime and was convicted by the General Court.
The punishment was later endorsed by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court and a royal order was issued to execute her, the ministry said.
A wide range of offences including rape, murder, robbery, blasphemy, drug-trafficking and apostasy can result in public beheading in Saudi Arabia.
