NER to focus on cleanliness: GM

The Railways are committed to provide better amenities in view of hiked passenger fares, he said adding cleanliness and better coaches are main NER's thrusts.

As many as 1400 unmanned railway crossings will be either be manned or subway will be constructed under these crossings by 2015, the GM said.

The laying of double track between Lucknow and Barauni will be completed during this fiscal, he said.
