Network18 Digital's former CEO Durga Raghunath will join restaurant discovery platform Zomato as Senior Vice President.
Raghunath will lead Zomato's customer acquisition and retention efforts across the globe, the company said in a statement.
She will also closely work with the founding team at Zomato on key aspects of some of the new businesses which the company has already announced it will venture into - online ordering, table reservations, and restaurant point-of-sales.

Hyundai Motor donates Rs 1.92 cr for Nepal quake relief * Korean auto major Hyundai Motor Company is donating USD 3,00,000 (Rs 1.92 crore) for humanitarian relief and rebuilding projects in quake-hit Nepal.
The donation to Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) will support those devastated parts of the country, which witnessed yet another tremor today.
"The global response to this tragedy has been extraordinary, and Hyundai Motor will be looking into additional ways to support the ongoing relief and rebuilding efforts," Head of Hyundai Motor's Asia & Pacific Regional Headquarters Sanqmin Park said in a statement.

Global Road inks Rs 35-crore deal for road equipment * Global Road Technology (GRT) today said it has signed a Rs 35-crore contract to purchase road building equipment from German firm Wirtgen.
"The Rs 35-crore deal will be used to deliver on its new-generation road works in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh," Global Road Technology said in a statement.
The Australian firm claims it is the largest purchase of cold recycling equipment, individual order in India.
"The purchase was made from Wirtgen Germany, through its Indian subsidiary Wirtgen India and the equipment will be used to deliver on its multi-million dollar programme of new generation road works in the states of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh," it added.
The company is working on projects with the public and private sector in India valued at over Rs 250 crore, GRT said.
