Pop star Kylie Minogue admits it has not been easy making her new album.
The 'Celebration' hitmaker, who is a judge on talent show 'The Voice', said she took risks on her next record which will be released after the series finishes, reported Contactmusic.
"I actually didn't know where I was going or what the future held at the end of 2012. There's been a lot of change, this album is about taking the plunge and embracing the future and not holding on to things from the past.
"It wasn't the easiest road but singing with Roc Nation, spending a lot of time in America and doing The Voice gave me a challenge and I needed that to feel reinvigorated," she said.
The 45-year-old singer said despite it being tough, making new music has been rewarding.
But after years as one of the world's biggest pop stars, she admits she still worries about what people will think of her music.
