New Executive Officer assumes office of TTD

M G Gopal, today assumed office as the new Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, which manages the famous hill temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near here.
Temple sources told PTI that Gopal, a senior IAS officer and was Principal Secretary to Revenue (Endowments) of Andhra Pradesh government, would be at the helm of affairs for two years at TTD which has an annual income of over 2200 crore.
The incumbent L V Subrahmanyam has now been made Principal Secretary, Ministry of Health.
