"A new industrial policy will be unveiled soon which will give a fillip to the industrial sector in the state," Industries and Commerce Minister, Chander Parkash Ganga said here, while chairing a meeting to discuss new industrial policy at Civil Secretariat yesterday.
Ganga said that the government has industrialist friendly approach and all possible efforts and measures would be taken to revive industrial units.
"The new industrial policy is aimed to boost and revive the industry in the state and to encourage new investment in industries and facilitate new entrepreneurs, besides generation of employment avenues," he said.
The meeting was attended by representatives from various industrialist associations, who gave suggestions for the successful implementation of the policy.
