Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Jitendra Rana, who replaced Manu Maharaj after stampede in which 33 people were killed, today sent a long list of dos and donots to Officer in-charge of 73 police stations in the district, a copy of it is made available to media.
Among the dos, the SSP has directed OCs to ensure arrest of at least one criminal a day.
Ensure sustained raids to recover unlicensed arms, drugs and items of loot and dacoity, the SSP said.
He instructed OCs to double up rate of disposal of crime cases every month. The SSP also asked them to organise Janata darbar regularly to hear problems of commonman.
Rana asked them to stay in their police station area and take permission before going out.
Among donots, he asked OCs to shun interfering in land disputes. Besides, they should not promote those indulging in crimes, encroachment and those indulging in anti-social activities.
