On this occasion, he laid the foundation stone of Bus Stand, Khizrabad to be constructed over 1.72 acres at a cost of over Rs two crore.
The chief minister announced that on the demand of the people, the name of Khizrabad village would be changed to Pratap Nagar, after the name of great warrior Maharana Pratap.
He asked the gram panchayat to send a proposal duly approved by it to the state government in this regard.
Khattar said that he has a special attachment with this area as he had spent six years as a 'pracharak' and is well versed with each village.
