Air Force chief Arup Raha, who is also the Chairman of Chiefs of Staff Committee, said a new defence cyber and space command of all the three services will be formed soon.
On new regulations for low-flying objects, he said the ministries of defence, civil aviation and home affairs are working towards formulating them in a year.
"As far as unregulated flying object is concerned, it is not only (a) worrying (factor) for India but (for) other nations as well. We need to have regulation.
He was speaking at a news conference ahead of the 83rd Air Force Day.
Elaborating on the formation of a new cyber and space command, Raha said the proposal is being discussed at various levels and requires a formal approval now.
In 2012, the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had formed a 14-member committee headed by former Cabinet Secretary Naresh Chandra on national security.
